Today was the first real opportunity I had to hang out with all the interns this summer. We went to church together this morning and had some members there pray for us. It was a nice worship experience. The message was over Mark 2, when the 4 men lowered the paralytic through a roof. The message was to tear the roof off for those whom you love in order to bring them to Jesus.
This afternoon we went on a hike and shared some testimonies and difficulties and struggles with one another. It was nice to meet everyone on a more personal level and to see that all of these people on fire for God have a story. Each one has his own story of how he met Jesus and life was forever changed.
One guy, Matt, prayed over me tonight concerning my summer and some issues from back home that are affecting me. This man is genuine about intentionally loving me because Jesus does, and also because he sees potential in me to do great things for the Kingdom.
I was blessed today. The Father is so good.
